Once again, Thomas Cook has given the Marquee of Excellence Award 2008 to the Hotel Port Mahón and the Hotel Agamenón for its High quality standards, good service and guests’ satisfaction.

This award has been given for a second consecutive year to the Hotel Agamenón, and for a third consecutive year to the Hotel Port Mahón .

We would like to thank Thomas Cook and all our guests to have achieved this award.

Hotel El Rompido Golf will evaluate NEC’s interactive guest information portal system to enrich communication between guests and hoteliers. The system, that will run for four months, will provide guests the opportunity to browse a variety of information in all 12 of the hotel’s suite rooms.

This newly developed hospitality solution will provide guests with instant access to a wide range of hotel service information while also ensuring efficient staff communications. The trial system features hotel service information, local area information, room service orders, amenity requests and others.

The “Institut de Qualitat Turística de les Illes Balears” (IQT) awarded the Hotel Port Ciutadella with the Biosphere Reserve hallmark, that distinguishes the establishments which respect their surroundings and Menorcan culture, protecting the island’s natural and socio-cultural heritage.

With this hallmark, the Hotel Port Ciutadella has three accreditations of IQT: Conventions and meetings, Wellness and Biosphere Reserve.

On Tuesday the 19^th May took place the suppliers presentation of TUI Travel PLC, where the company introduced their actual activities, the British market and the TUI Travel innovations for this summer.

During the presentation, TUI Travel presented the Gold Choice 2008 Summer Accomodation to Set Hotels, for the Quality and facilities of the Mestral & Llebeig.
