Company Philosophy

Set Hotels S.L. is a hotel company which started in 1995. It comes from a family group of companies related to the tourist area based in Menorca whose origins date back to 1963. Nowadays the company runs eight hotels located in Menorca and Costa de la Luz (Huelva). It employs more than 350 employees.

We are a dynamic company in constant evolution. From the very beginning we know that to achieve a high satisfaction degree among our guests, we must also achieve a high quality standard in our establishments. The company philosophy is to fulfil the aims that are periodically given by the company Management related both to the installations and the service that we offer. We know that investing in quality, with respect for the environment, means investing in our future. To achieve this all our staff are continuously improving within these bound premises: 

• To do our utmost in working processes and products so as to satisfy our guests even by exceeding their expectations.
• To standardize the service in all the chain establishments to ensure that our guests achieve a high degree of satisfaction, independently of the chosen establishment for their stay.
• Identify and establish estrategies aiming at achieving the loyalty of our guests.
• The thorough control of the impact that our activity generates in the environment. We manage our waste and efficiently prevent pollution. We involve our staff and our suppliers in environmental issues.
• The fulfilment of all the regulations in our activity. We observe all legal requirements regarding tourism, environment, health and safety, labour and data processing legislation in all our establishments. We assign enough technical, human and economic resources to guarantee health and safety for all our staff and guests while carrying out our activity.

The Set Hotels management annually proposes new objectives to develop this company philosophy. It is periodically checked so that it is continuously appropriate.

Brand architecture

Set Hotels’ strategy is based on monolithic brand architecture. In other words, using the brand Seth as a basis, three sub-brands are developed: Plus, Style and Resort. Each sub-brand defines a category of hotels that have a series of common elements.

According to this brand architecture, each category is defined in a particular way:

Seth is the global brand of this national small hotel company with hotels in Menorca and in Costa de la Luz, Huelva. The hotels offer several possibilities: holidays, golf, spa and business. They are all adapted to the characteristics of each area and offer the same quality and service standards.

The category “Plus” defines the hotel with highest category of the company, the five-star hotel. This hotel offers a quality service and a great amount of facilities, and has a privileged location. Apart from that, it offers golf, spa and conference rooms for business. 

The category “Style” is used to designate the hotels Seth that offer a quality service with a lower category than the Plus one. Nevertheless, they are all situated in privileged areas near the coast of Menorca and offer several facilities. All of them share similar features and stand out for its comfort.

The category “Resort” includes the groups of apartments that belong to resorts, perfect for families with children and the sea lovers. This category also includes apartments that are located in a privileged area near the coast and that have several facilities available.
