The beach of Santo Tomas is located on the southern coast of Menorca, in Es Migjorn Gran municipality. Fine white sand, the beach of Santo Tomas has an area of 390 meters long and 25 meters wide. From Santo Tomás you can easily reach the beach Atalis (east - left on Santo Tomas) and Binigaus beach (west - right), both spectacular unspoiled beaches.
The visitor can also enjoy beautiful excursions in the area of Santo Tomás, for example to the "Cova des Coloms", an impressive natural cave hidden in the native vegetation, or even the pristine beaches of Cala Fustam or Cala Escorxada, following the “Camí de Cavalls”, which runs across the island along its coast.
Walking the perimeter of the beach of Santo Tomas and San Adeodato you will find the promenade, ideal place to enjoy a pleasant stroll along the sea, and the urbanization of Santo Tomás, one of the quietest and family resorts of Menorca.
In Santo Tomás you will find a wide variety of tourist accommodation (both hotels, apartments and villas) restaurants, bars, supermarkets and souvenir shops.

Es Migjorn Gran is the youngest and smallest municipality of Menorca, independent since 1989, with 1,400 inhabitants. Strolling through the charming narrow streets you can breathe the calm of a village for whom time seems to stand still.
Enjoy the restaurants and tapas bars, where you can taste typical dishes in true traditional style. Feel the silence and quiet in the streets, a source of inspiration for many artists, among them a large number of musicians, many of which are part of the Band of Es Migjorn, famous in Menorca for its young partygoers character.
The “fiestas” of Es Migjorn Gran held in honor of San Cristobal (Festes de Sant Cristòfol) for the 5th weekend of July (or first of August). As with all “fiestas” in Menorca, the protagonists are the "caixers" (riders) and horses that demonstrate their empathy during the main events of the “fiestas”, the “jaleos”, held on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. A peculiarity of the “fietas” of Sant Cristòfol is the "Jaleo d'Ases", a “jaleo” of donkeys which makes a mockery of the traditional “jaleo” of horses which took place during the previous two days. Both the "riders" as the Band wear a particular dress code to this day, giving the party a different and fun point.
